Member of the Month - October 2023

There are two major reasons Janine is our Member of the Month for October, they are:

1. Perseverance

Janine was one of the female members who recognised the need for extra board training sessions to improve proficiency. Watching Janine out there, battling away, getting knocked off and getting back on to try again…sets a great example or the rest of us to improve ourselves as Surf Life Savers. Janine has given it all a go since she joined the club including not just boards but Ski’s and Swims.

2. Reliability

Janine always turns up on a Friday night members get together, and make’s sure the members’ draw happens. (The member officer is supposed to do it)
