Congrats to the team that acheived two silver medals!
-45 Mixed Team Rescue (Driver – Shane & Alastair, Crewies – Dave & Vickie , with patients Toby & Kaleb)
-35 Female Mass Rescue (Driver – KT, Crewie – Vickie, with support crew Kaleb & Toby)

The weekend presented big surf, a ‘wicked’ shorey and had cold and windy conditions in general. The heats leading to finals presented some intense racing, and it was great to see the team’s young guns and first timers getting through rounds in Open Competition; demonstrating Coolum brings the competition in skill.

Thank you to the tiresome efforts from the team managers – Leah H and Caleb T.
Of course, the event could not happen without Officials. Big shout out to Chris, Allison, Treena and Sharleen.
Thank you to Shane and Phil for their coaching and imparting knowledge that is critical this valuable Surf Life Saving Rescue techniques and sport.

Did we mention Phil rescued a Kite Surfer during the competitor whilst he was being a duty boat driver for patients?

Well done to everyone on the team for getting in and helping with gear preparation, setting up the beach, packing up and pulling down. Special mention to the Eller family and
Maddy for always showing up and supporting us with cheers, food and donuts and our injured cripples of Saxon and Abbie for supporting even though they can't race.

Thanks to the club for their support, and thanks to our Surf Sport Officer Ricc and Club Captain Anthony for making a surprise visit; making the day and the team felt pumped up after the visit.
And thanks to our sponsors for making it all happen; Sharkskin and Signature Roofing.

Good luck to the team at the Australian Titles! Go Red Ducks!

So if you can't join us, support us through one of the following options.
