2024 Ocean Roar IRB Series - Round 2

Published: June 26, 2024

Competitors battled it out through to the finals in the rookie surf, 45+ surf, and mass rescue races. Despite a few minor indiscretions that led to disqualifications, the team persevered and secured a commendable 7th place in the finals of the 45+ mass rescue event, with tight finishes across the board.

The weekend marked several firsts, including entries in the Taplin race, assembly race, and tube teams events. Looking ahead, the team plans to fine-tune their techniques during training to address minor errors, as they gear up for the next round of the series at Rainbow Beach on June 8th and 9th, 2024.
