Club Championships 2023

Club Champs was held last Saturday the 4th of February 2023, in preparation for upcoming Queensland & Australian Championships - allowing our Surf Sports competitors to fine tune their skills.

All ages from under 15's to 60+ took on some challenging conditions - that saw a gnarly shore break and saw some of the most experienced come unstuck!

Notable efforts from Jake and Linda B, who didn't give up and got around the cans to finish the event. Robert A dominated the swim, showing that his Surf Training is paying off and will be one to watch in coming years.

Big shout out and thanks to our officials for the day, Ernie B, Katie J & Gail, as well as the IRB crew of Alistair & Greg B for setting cans and water coverage. Also thanks to the setup and organising crew of Del, Greg W & Steve S.   

Results will be announced at Awards Night on the 27th of May
