Our Surf Boat Teams showed what they were made of with both teams making it through to the finals against very tough competition.

Lachlan A & Toby A placed fourth in Open Male Long Board and U19 Male Short Board events. Lachlan A also made finals in open long boards and placed fourth, brother Toby A made his way through rounds and quarters to the U19 male short board finals grabbing fourth. Well done also to Cooper W for progressing to the quarter finals in the open male short boards, Toby H made semis in open long boards and to Heidi who made finals in her board race. Jake H was on fire progressing through his flags rounds - he ended up a solid 5th place in his age group; well done jake. (Also a semi finalist also in open male long boards - an all rounder.)

Well done also to Cooper W for progressing to the quarter finals for the Open Male Short board, and to Heidi & Jake who made finals in their Board Races. Well done to Noel for his efforts in the beach run and the team board relay, and Jake H for making the finals in the sprints and top ten in board rescues and male flags. Noel, Jake and Bruce came in the top 15 for 150 board relay.

Thank you to efforts of all the competitors, the support from their families, spectators, club officers, team captains and a very special thank you to the Three Amigos (Dave C, Noel B & Smiley) for making the trip across the country carrying gear and the our club spirit with them.

It takes a lot of money to run a surf lifesaving club; from the equipment needed on the beach (vehicles, boards, IRBs, first aid kits, defibrillators etc) to administration and training to facilitate patrolling.

So if you can't join us, support us through one of the following options.
